Congratulations to Haven Perdomo, the NFMC Myrtle Mehan/ Hazel Morgan Music Education winner of $1,000.
Haven is a sophomore at Augustana College majoring in Vocal Music Education, as well as minoring in Vocal Music Performance and Music Composition. Originally from Morris, Illinois, she hopes to use her education to pursue a career in choral conducting. Outside of class, Haven sings in the Augustana Choir, Augapella (vocal jazz), plays in the Bell Choir, as well as interns at Redeemer Lutheran Church. She is honored to receive this award.

IFMC is a nonprofit group that is affiliated with the National Federation of Music Clubs, a National organization that is dedicated to promoting American music through its support of members of all ages.

The Federation is a national network for the promotion of music. As a philanthropic non-profit organization, the Federation offers monetary awards to members of all ages.
IFMC provides musical opportunites for all ages through festival programs, competitive events, awards, and community outreach.
