Beyer Composition Winner
John Flannery, Beyer Composition Winner, with Abriana Tereza, soprano, presented John’s composition, “My Body Turns Toward Thee Again, A Song Cycle in 5 Movements,” at the NFMC 2024 Conference. John, a native of Washington Iowa, studied piano with Dr. Charles Schmidt.

IFMC is affiliated with the National Federation of Music Clubs, a National organization that is dedicated to promoting American music through its support of members of all ages.
The Federation is a national network for the promotion of music. As a philanthropic non-profit organization, the Federation offers monetary awards to members of all ages. IFMC provides musical opportunites for all ages through festival programs, competitive events, and community outreach.
